Total Knee replacement and knee osteoarthritis
Knee osteoarthritis is a common degenerative condition that causes the protective cartilage within the knee joint to wear away, leading to pain, stiffness and reduced mobility. Total knee replacement surgery is performed to remove the damaged joint surfaces and replace them with carefully designed artificial components, helping to restore movement, improve function and relieve long-term pain.

ARTHROSCOPIC (KEYHOLE) KNEE SURGERY
Knee arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat problems within the knee joint using small instruments and a tiny camera. It can help manage conditions such as cartilage damage, meniscal tears and inflammation, often resulting in reduced pain, improved movement and a quicker recovery compared to traditional open surgery.

Knee Meniscus
The meniscus is a crescent-shaped cartilage within the knee that acts as a shock absorber and helps stabilise the joint during movement. Meniscal injuries or tears can cause pain, swelling and locking of the knee, and treatment may involve physiotherapy or minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to repair or remove the damaged tissue.

Knee Anterior Cruciate Ligament
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the key stabilising ligaments within the knee, helping control movement and rotational stability during activity. ACL injuries commonly occur during sports or sudden twisting movements and can cause pain, swelling and instability, with treatment ranging from rehabilitation to reconstructive surgery depending on the severity of the injury.
